Responsibilities

Key responsibilities and day-to-day focus

  • Design tailor-made luxury itineraries across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and combination journeys based on client priorities, trip purpose, and budget range.
  • Translate enquiry notes into elegant proposals with clear routing logic, persuasive storytelling, and commercially sound pricing.
  • Recommend hotels, villas, guides, experiences, and transport arrangements that suit the guest profile rather than defaulting to standard combinations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, concierge, and operations teams to refine proposals and ensure handovers remain precise once a booking converts.
  • Review supplier rates, seasonal considerations, blackout dates, and feasibility before proposals are issued.
  • Make thoughtful itinerary revisions in response to feedback while protecting brand positioning and margin quality.

Required Qualifications

What we need to see

  • At least 4 years of experience in luxury travel design, premium leisure sales support, or destination management itinerary planning.
  • Excellent written English with the ability to make proposals feel polished, clear, and globally credible.
  • Strong destination knowledge across Sri Lanka and an appetite to deepen expertise across the Maldives and complementary regional travel.
  • Commercial awareness in pricing, supplier selection, and itinerary feasibility.
  • Confident use of spreadsheets, proposal documents, and reservation or itinerary planning systems.
